Stewart Headlam went global on Thursday the 11th of February as the school was transformed into a truly international marketplace. Children, parents and staff all enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of buying and selling goods with an international theme at the end of our successful whole school families topic.
On sale were Chinese wantons, Mexican wraps and nachos, Turkish sweet biscuits, beautiful photo frames, exceptional wooden home plaques and faces of the world biscuits.
All of the items sold by the classes were made by children as part of their Design and Technology project at the end of the Families topic. Everyone joined in and had a great time.
A big thank you to all the parents and carers who got really involved by cooking and serving up delicious food! All the money raised will go towards the school fund.
